Visiting Hours

Visitors, including parents should not visit the class rooms and are not allowed to interview the class teacher during the school hours. They May meet the teachers after seeking appointment after class hours, preferably on the day of Parents-teacher meeting. If they have any grievance or they want to give any suggestion, they may do so meeting the Principal between 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. during visiting hours.

Admission Rule

Students seeking admission should apply in the printed application form available in the school office. The date for sale of forms and registration etc. will be notified in the leading local news papers and school notice board in the first week of January of every year. The following documents are to be submitted along with the admission form for eligibility.

  1. Birth Certificate
  2. Transfer Certificate
  3. Six Colored Passport size photographs.
  4. Caste Certificate.

Admission

  1. Admission will be made strictly on the basis of merit.
  2. Birth Certificate from Municipal corporation & Transfer Certificate obtained from the previous school are to be submitted at the time of admission.
  3. Fees have to be deposited within 7 days of selection, failing which   the seat will be allotted to the next candidate in the list

Test/Interview

  1. Admission is on the basis of a written test and an interview.
  2. Tests will be conducted according to the course of the last class passed. Both parents need to accompany the child during interview

Guidelines for Students

  1. Students must come to School in proper uniform.
  2. They should bring School Diary, Text Books, Note Books, and Stationary etc. on daily basis.
  3. They should not bring valuable articles/documents.
  4. They should strictly follow the rules of school transport.
  5. They should come to school in time.

Attendance

  1. 75% attendance is essential for promotion to the next higher class.
  2. No leave will be granted except prior information through written application from Parents/Guardian for genuine reasons.
  3. It is compulsory for a student to attend the school on the 1st day and the last day after any long vacation.

Leave Rules

  1. No leave will be granted without a written application from the parents/guardians. Grant of leave on account of birthday, marriage, feasts and similar other reasons will be at the Principal’s discretion.
  2. Continuous absence for more than 15 days without leave will be treated equivalent to withdrawal of the student from the school and his/her name will be struck off the rolls. A medical certificate should be produced for absence due to contagious or infectious disease.
  3. Students who do not return promptly after holidays and remain absent without any valid reason will have to pay a fine of Rs. 25/- per day.

Promotion

  1. Promotion will be granted on the basis of whole year’s performance of a student; hence the importance of regularity in attendance and work is imperative.
  2. Minimum attendance for appearing in annual examination should be 75% or more.
  3. Normally a student will be required to secure 33% marks in every subject to get promotion.
  4. Regarding scholarship, promotion or failure, the Principal’s decision will be final.

Parent-Teachers Meeting

After every Test (Monthly Test) & Examination, the ward’s academic progress and participation in co-curricular activities will be informed through parent-teachers meeting.

Guidelines for Parents:

  1. School diary is a means of communication with the teacher. The diary should be checked daily for homework and teacher’s remarks.
  2. Your child should have all the text books, notebooks etc. right from the beginning of the session.
  3. Ensure that your child comes to school in proper uniform with polished shoes, trimmed hair and clean nails.
  4. The child should be sent regularly and punctually to school. No leave of absence will be permitted without an application and late corners will not be allowed to sit in the class.
  5. Fees should be paid as per schedule.
  6. Change in address and telephone No. should be intimated to school office.
  7. Medical certificates should be furnished from the authentic medical for prolonged illness of your child.

Withdrawals

  1. Withdrawals from any classes must be informed to the office by a month’s notice.
  2. All dues must be cleared before T.C./S.L.C. is issued.
  3. Transfer Certificate/School Leaving Certificate., will be issued on the receipt of an application from the parents.

General Discipline

We believe in discipline and firmness. Any breach of common sense or of good manners or action likely to lower the good name of the School is regarded as a breach of the school discipline. The school reserves the right to expel a student whose conduct is harmful to other students. Immorality grieves in subordination or contempt of authority and breaking bounds are always a sufficient reason for immediate expulsion or rustication.

Valuables

It is not advisable for students to bring valuable articles to the school. The school will not be responsible for the loss of books, valuables etc. They are advised to bring their belongings in a bag or case that can be properly locked.

Accidents

Though the school takes all normal precautions for the safety of the students, it does not take any responsibility for accidents.
